He was an old school liberal who was articulate. A lot of people miss that (Obama's initial appeal was being smart and articulate like Cuomo). But if Ed was here, he could tell you that Cuomo played dirty and was a hypocrite when it came to winning elections.
He was such a fixture for years in New York, so his passing also makes a lot of older people feel closer to the grave themselves.

I voted for the homo and not for Cuomo because he was mobbed up.
